As part of the fundraising campaign for this year’s MSc Digital Feature Film Production @ Filmbase feature films, the 2015 Academy Awards ceremony is being streamed live in Filmbase on the 22nd February.
Hosted by Irish comedian and journalist Abie Philbin Bowman, the night will consist of a selection of stand-up acts and comedians, as well two panel discussions of this year’s Oscars which will be streamed live from LA from midnight.
Upon entry, guests will have the opportunity to walk the Filmbase red carpet and have their photo taken by one of the resident photographers.
The event is black tie and there will be a prize for Best Dressed Lady on the night.
Cost of admission is €10 per person, which includes a complimentary drink. The evening’s entertainment kicks off from 10pm Sunday, 22nd February.
