Yesterday’s War is the new feature film from Derry born writer and director David Harkin.

Yesterday’s War is set in an alternative Ireland in the year 2023. The President of Ireland has been kidnapped by a group of Fascists, to rescue the President a secret plan is set in motion.

Yesterday’s War is David’s sixth feature film and the film also showcases a great cast of local actors including Martin Bradley, Alex Watson, Michael Harkin, Eoin Daly, Tommy Page, Ryan Boyd and Rebecca Denby

Yesterday’s War is currently in production throughout the North West of the country.

Last Night’s Dream – Charity Screening in Derry

David Harkin’s Last Night’s Dream will screen on the 17th of April at the Nerve Centre in Derry at 7pm. Tickets cost four pounds with all the profits going to Foyle Hospice.

Last Night’s Dream is the new feature film from award-winning Derry born writer and director David Harkin.  The film was financed solely by the producers David Harkin, Eoin Daly and Golda Mansilla.

The film is set in the year 2037 and follows the story of a team of ex-Irish Army soldiers who must make their way out of Ireland before time runs out for them. However, to achieve this goal they must first track down a cold blooded killer who holds the key to their survival.

Last Night’s Dream was shot last summer in and around Derry and Donegal.

Last Night’s Dream is set in the year 2037 and tells the story of a group of ex Irish Army soldiers who must make their way out of Ireland before time runs out for them.

‘Bravado’ Charity Screening

Bravado is a crime story that tells the story of Rebecca Kelly who is looking to get in touch with her estranged husband Martin Doherty.  Martin has neglected his parental responsibilities and has vanished.  Rebecca seeking answers; enlists the help of private investigator Christopher Swann.  Swann uncovers a lot more about Martin than he ever intended and gets himself mixed up in the middle of a gang war with no easy way out.

 

The cast includes local actors Shauna Lawson, Hugh Barbour, James McLaughlin, Martin Bradley, Geoff Coke, Ciaran Paterson, Kyle Martin, Brendan Gallagher and Michael Harkin

 

The film was shot last summer in and around Derry and Donegal.

New Film in Production in Derry and Donegal

BRAVADO

 

Bravado is the new feature film from Derry born, writer and director David Harkin.  It’s being filmed this summer in and around Derry and Donegal.  The film is financed solely by the producers David Harkin, Eoin Daly & Golda Mansilla and has received no third party funding whatsoever.

David Harkin is best known for his short film Politics, which won the Greer Garson Film Award at the University of Ulster and for his zero-budget feature Murderous, which won Best Local Film at last year’s Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival in Belfast.
