The short film Strawberry, from the Dundalk Institute of Technology students, is in pre-production. The film is being made by Dundalk Institute of Technology students. Principal photography will take place on the 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th of April.
Strawberry is a comedy about a young lad Stephen that has to work at the family strawberry stand, ruining his plans to meet his girlfriend. He reluctantly carries out his shift, but not as he expected. Throughout the day Stephen is pestered by various characters, changing his day in a way he couldn’t have imagined.
The cast includes Kieran Boland, David O’Boyle, Pat Deery, George Bracebridge.
The team members are Robert McCabe (Writer), Daniel O’Toole (Producer), Jessica Young (Director), Nicky Fitzsimons (Cinematographer), Daniel Faulkner (Production Design) and Eleanor Bell (Editor).
The Strawberry team is filming around Dundalk including Oriel Centre, Dundalk Gaol, Carrickmacross Road, Co. Louth.
