Galway writer Shane Perez has struck a double blow with MyTeeVee, the up and coming Los Angeles based web content provider and entertainment industry social media site.
Shane has been chosen as one of the writers for Match, MyTeeVee’s first original drama series. Shane’s episode “Secret Lives” will be filmed in Washington D.C. and casting sessions are currently being conducted in major cities across the U.S. MyTeeVee is strongly considering Ireland as one of its global locations for Season Two of Match.
Shane has also won MyTeeVee’s First Page Initiative, in which members’ projects competed for cash prizes and the chance to be considered for representation by Manager-Producer Seth Jaret. Shane’s screenplay Hurricane Allie took the top spot.
In addition to his screenwriting work, Shane is a Lecturer in Screenwriting for the MA Programme at the Huston School, NUI Galway.
