ANIMATION DINGLE
Saturday March 16th – 12-5pm; St. James Church, Dingle
Dingle International Film Festival loves animation and in association with MEDIA Desk Ireland & JAM Media will bring together in Dingle for one day only the top Animation companies working in Ireland, giving them a platform to showcase their current work and show their future plans. The day will involve each company exhibiting their work in the atmospheric St. James’ Church in Dingle. Our aim is to make this an annual event.
The event will include a showcase of Irish animation companies, all members of Animation Ireland, including their work for preschool children and children between 7-11 years of age.
A panel discussion will follow the presentations. The panel will last approximately hour.

Paul Young – Cartoon Saloon
Gerald O Rourke – Monster
Jimmy T. Murakami will receive The Inaugural Murakami Award following the presentations for his lifetime achievement in Animation.
