Irish short film Jacob Wrestling With The Angel has just entered the last week of its Fundit campaign. With six days left to go, the production team are €550 away from meeting their fundraising target of €3,000. Locations, cast and crew have been locked down and the film is scheduled to shoot in north county Dublin in late March.
Jacob is the story of an Artist who becomes possessed by a dream and a painting. He wrestles with his tenuous grip on reality but finds solace in a young lady who haunts the inner workings of his mind. Writer/Director Bertie Brosnan has developed the project alongside Director of Photography Blaine Rennicks and Co-Producer Alan Markey.
The film aims to showcase Ireland as a leading production hub of topical and diverse short film and to highlight the talents and abilities of its Irish based cast and crew. The producers have embraced various online digital platforms to promote and market the film and to document the production process from script to screen.
