Paul Farren, whose body has aged greatly because the adamantium fused to his bones has started poisoning him and impeded his healing factor, is joined by mutant tracker Scott Adair, who can psionically sense other mutants out to several miles away and track their movements, and Richard Drumm, who is suffering from a neurodegenerative disease which causes him to lose control of his telepathic abilities to devastating effect.
