From directing RTÉ docuseries Keep It Up to helming prize-winning shorts, to developing her feature and series with Screen Ireland support, Róisín Kearney is a filmmaker in full flight. Now, her latest short, The Laughing Boys, is set to premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh, and her recent win at Fastnet Film Festival has her poised to shoot her most ambitious drama yet. But Róisín’s creative voyage wasn’t always smooth sailing.
