Travis Nelson
Originally from the small town of Turner Valley in the foothills of Alberta, Canada, Travis Nelson moved to Vancouver just a week after his eighteenth birthday and quickly began working in the film industry. He soon found himself back in Alberta, playing the character CHUCK in the cult classic comedy Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. This breakout role paved the way for appearances in notable series such as Fringe and Supernatural.
A dual citizen of Canada and Australia, Travis relocated to Sydney, where he studied at NIDA before returning to Canada to take on the role of BRANDON in Neal Edelstein’s (The Ring) directorial debut, Haunting Melissa, and its sequel, Dark Hearts.
In recent years, Travis has continued to build an impressive resume. With roles in Netflix’s hit spy thriller The Recruit, he brought comedic charm to Amazon Prime’s The Lake, and has led several projects across film and television. Most recently, he wrapped filming in Ireland on Drop, a gripping thriller set to hit cinemas on April 11th.
Now also an Irish citizen, Travis splits his time between Canada and Dublin, where he has made a second home.
