The European Film Academy and EFA Productions have announced this year’s short film nominations, which includes Andrea Harkin’s The Party, the Cork Short Film Nominee.
In Harkin’s film it is Belfast 1972 and Laurence invites his cousin and man-on-the-run Mickey to a party of drinking, dancing and young love. by morning, reality catches up with them.

The European Film Academy congratulates the nominees. The nominated films will soon be submitted to the more than 3,000 EFA Members to elect the winner. The European Short Film 2017 will then be presented at the European Film Awards Ceremony on Saturday, 9 December, in Berlin.
