Its beautiful crafting of the principal characters was evident from start to finish. Well cast, great script and above all beautifully directed. It’s great to see filmmakers taking a simple moment most have experienced in life and deliver it in its true form on screen”.

We were lucky enough to have our film on the outdoor screen on the opening night of the festival. It was a very special screening for us in such an incredible location. Homecoming is my first film but we have been very pleased with how audiences are responding to it. We are delighted to have been awarded Best Short Film and we would like to thank the judging panel, Dave Byrne and all the festival staff ”.
