The Producers presents: Cinema Paradiso, a celebration of youth, friendship, and the everlasting magic of the movies.

Cinema Paradiso, the much-loved Italian film about movie lovers Alfredo and Toto in a small-town Italian cinema, is 25 years old. To celebrate, The Producers will be screening the film in The Sugar Club on Tuesday 12th March where cinema-goers can live the film up Italian style and feast on pizza and wine.

This Academy Award winning film is a heart-tugging and affectionate drama about a childhood spent in a small Italian cinema set to a beautiful score by legendary composer Ennio Morricone.

Director Giuseppe Tornatore transports us to the grim days of post World War II Italy, where the Paradiso brings the community of a small town together and offers them laughter and a world outside their own troubles. This magical cinema bonds projectionist Alfredo and his young protégé Toto, who grows up under the beaming lights of the cinema projector, falling in love with films and a beautiful local girl.

Enjoy pizza and wine in the sumptuous surroundings of The Sugar Club while the cinema usherettes serve Italian treats, as you take a trip back to the golden days of cinema.
