IFI Ireland on Sunday Screens 'Circus Born'

IFI Ireland on Sunday, the monthly showcase for new Irish fiction and documentary films, will present the Dublin premiere of Circus Born, a documentary on the Fossett family. Although Fossett’s Circus is the oldest continuously touring circus in the world, its story has, until now, remained largely untold. Seasoned Director of Photography Matt Skinner, in his directorial debut, tells the story of the Fossett family. Since 1888, and through seven generations, they have worked hard to delight the people of Ireland and further afield with this most accessible and entertaining of art forms.

The screening, which takes place on Sunday 26th July at 1pm, will be attended by many of the stars of the film, and will feature a post-screening Q&A with director Matt Skinner. The Irish Film Institute is supported by the Arts Council.
