Trailer: The Devil’s Woods

The low-budget Irish horror The Devil’s Woods, which wrapped earlier this year, is the first feature film from writer/director Anthony White.

What starts off as a road movie quickly descends into a nightmare as a group of friends trying to repair their strained relationships decide to go on a road trip. En route they stop off at a small town in the middle of rural Ireland. However, this seemingly idyllic country town is darkened by a history of strange events. Can a town that is inherently evil literally tear them apart? Can they survive…. The Devil‘s Woods.

The Devil’s Woods stars Stephen Cromwell,  Danielle Keaney, Daniel Mahony, Caoimhe Cassidy, Eoin Quinn and Aoife King.

‘The Devil’s Woods’ in Production

The Devil’s Woods is an independent horror film starring up-and-coming actor Stephen Cromwell (The Sea),  Jack Taylor (Love/Hate) and Eoin Quinn (Limp).

Written and directed by Anthony White the film is an unusual take on the ‘youth camp in the woods’ setting. The film is about a group of friends who are trying to maintain their fractured relationships. When they are placed in a truly horrendous situation, they must pull together for survival or be literally torn apart.

The Devil’s Woods is set for completion summer 2014.
