Film Fatale is a new bi-monthly film event that transports the audience back to the golden age of cinema. Screening a number of classic films in the Sugar Club, this night of cinema nostalgia and old-style Hollywood glamour will mirror the style of the films being screened.
Opening Film Fatale’s 2011 season is Billy Wilder’s comedy, Some Like It Hot, starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. After the screening, a themed after-party will include a live performance by singer Sugar Kane and DJs playing hits from the movie and the era.
The audience is invited to take part in setting the scene by dressing up in their vintage finest for the event. Themed cocktails will be specially prepared for all the Sugar Kane, Daphne and Josephine lookalikes.
The event will take place on 5th February at 8pm in the Sugar Club, 8 Lower Leeson St., Dublin 2. Tickets are on sale now www.tickets.ie for €13.50.
