Decoder Spectacle for the Senses

Dublin’s experimental musician and artist, Stano brings Decoder, a one hour Music, Film and 3D Projection experience back to the award winning, giant umbrellas in MHS, creating an amazing indoor / outdoor experience in the City Centre. Tickets are available for €10 from www.Entertainment.ie and all ticket sales proceeds will be donated to ARC Cancer Support Centres.

Presented in association with Sony, Dublin City Council, Temple Bar Cultural Trust, Shinawil and Ludwig-drums, the Decoder event features 60 minutes of nine different musical movements starting with classical building into a crescendo of layered electronic and textured music and sounds and has been combined with visually stunning images of Dublin and 3D projections on two 10 metre screens which will be presented at Meeting House Square Templebar.  He has collaborated with Sean Coleman, Jeen Rabs and Niall O’Shea on Guitar and on Drums, Simon Freedman and Jay and Dazzy Oglesby, visuals produced by Kevin Freeney, Oisin O’Brien and Burschi Wojnar combine to produce the story of Dublin in images and 3D projections. The event coincides with the launch of ‘DECODER’, Stano’s 11th album.

ARC is a voluntary organisation that offers vital support to people with cancer and those who care for them, through the provision of complementary therapies and counseling services in a friendly environment.  It has two Drop-In Centres in Dublin that offer holistic support, counselling and complementary therapies in a calm and caring environment to nurture the individual and their carers, relieve their stress and anxiety, and encourage healing in a holistic manner.
