Gabriel Byrne began his acting career at Dublin’s Focus Theatre and Abbey Theatre before joining London’s Royal Court Theatre and Royal National Theatre. His screen breakthrough with The Riordans & Bracken, followed by his film debut in John Boorman’s Excalibur (1981). He became internationally known through Miller’s Crossing (1990), The Usual Suspects (1995), Little Women (1994), Dead Man (1995), Spider (2002) and Hereditary (2018). Byrne produced Into the West and In the Name of the Father.
