Creative Europe Desk Ireland’s Fund Your Animation event on October 29th will lead you through the journey of developing your own IP, exploring funding opportunities, and how to find the best distribution channels to propel you onto the international stage.

Irish and international animation professionals will share their stories of how they succeeded with their projects.

The morning session will see producers, broadcasters and distributors discuss their experiences and share advice on getting a project to screen. Panel sessions will cover the following topics: Developing and owning your own IP; and Financing and Distributing your project.

The afternoon session will comprise funding application workshops that will cover Section 481, the BAI Sound & Vision fund, IFB funding schemes, and Creative Europe producer support funding.

Masterclass for Development Funding and TV Programming Support

The MEDIA Offices are presenting a Masterclass covering all aspects of the new guidelines for Development Funding and TV Programming support on Monday 12th October. Registration is from 10am and the Masterclass will run from 10.30am until 12.30pm in the IFI, Eustace Street, Dublin 2.

As there will be some changes in the guidelines, Orla Clancy from the MEDIA Office Dublin and Eibhlín Ní Mhunghaile from the MEDIA Office Galway will present a Masterclass covering all aspects of the new guidelines prior to the upcoming deadlines (19th November  for Single Project Development and 3rd December for TV Programming).

If you are interested in applying for Development or TV programming Support this year, this is the ideal event for you.

Call For: TV Programming Funding

The EU Commission have just announced details of the latest Call for the TV Programming Funding. This scheme supports the production of TV Animation, Drama and Creative Documentary projects programmes involving the participation of at least three European broadcasters. Projects can be ‘one-off’ or serialised.

The first deadline for this scheme is December 3, 2015 with a second deadline on May 26, 2016

Call For: Single Project Development Funding

The EU Commission have just announced details of the latest Call for Single Project Development funding.

The first deadline for Single Project Development is November 19th with a second deadline on April 21st – (11am Irish time)

Information on Slate funding will be announced next month. There will be only one deadline for Slate funding and please bear in mind that you can only apply for one of these three deadlines.

Details of the new call for the TV Programming scheme will be announced shortly.
