The Green Knight is looking for Film Extras in the coming months. There will be an Extras Open Casting day next week in Dublin. It is paid work and, the open casting day will be open to people from all ethnic backgrounds.

The casting takes place at Liberty hall (Siptu Building), Eden Quay, Dublin 1, on Friday 15th February 10am – 5.30pm.

The film is an Irish/American Co-production, to be directed by David Lowery (Old Man & The Gun, A Ghost Story, Pete’s Dragon).  Based upon the classic 14th Century poem, the film tells the tale of Sir Gawain, a young Knight who embarks upon a quest to confront the titular Green Knight.

Filming will begin March 2019

Appearances: Bone thin, Medium built, Broad, Sporty types, Tall, Short, Witch-like long hair, Bald men & women, Naturally coloured hair or be prepared to dye it, Long and short beards, No beards, Amputees, Crooked or missing teeth

People with unique appearances from every ethnic background.

Skills…Carpenters, Crafts people, Sword & Axe, Blacksmiths, Farmers, Real Midwives, Nurses

Performers of all kinds… Jugglers, Musicians, Fire Breathers, Contortionists, Gymnasts, Acrobats

There will be FEATURED & SPECIAL EXTRA roles too with casting people on the day
