The 2nd Dublin Workers Film Festival (20 – 21 October) comes to Dublin this month with a selection of films. The festival closes with Blood Fruit. Sinead O’Brien’s film about the story of 11 young Irish Dunnes Stores workers who went on strike in 1984 following their refusal to handle South African produce (followed by a special event with original strikers).

Hi…I cant find any info regarding the individual films ( whats the background/ significance/ context for them) so if you could point me to that, thank you. Also there are two dates: 20 – 24th but in next sentence it reads ‘festival closes Sunday 22nd…’? Thanks again
