Over the coming months, there will be 1,000’s of extra days on the sets of some for the biggest productions filming in Ireland.

MovieExtras.ie are looking for people of Asian, Black, Hispanic and Mixed-race heritage to be part of the third series of the major U.S. TV series, Into the Badlands starring Daniel Wu, Orla Brady and Sarah Bolger.

Also, extras of the same look for a thriller set in New York but filmed in Dublin are being cast. The film is directed by Neil Jordan and starring Chloe Grace Moretz, Maika Monroe & Isabelle Huppert.

According to Derek Quinn, Managing Director of MovieExtras.ie, “this is a great opportunity to work behind the scenes of a major movie and to be part of a really popular US TV series. Also, a great way to get some extra cash for Christmas. Generally, the fee for a day on INTO THE BADLANDS will be €100 (ranging from €83 to €130). You could be on set four or five times a month, so you could earn about €2,000 before the New Year”.

Anyone interested should attend the OPEN DAY at the Draíocht Theatre in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre on Thursday 14th September, Midday to 7pm. For those who can’t come out to the Draíocht Theatre, you can register online www.MovieExtras.ie/Blanch.
