Members of Foroige Youth Group, Ballinfoyle, Galway whose short ‘Trailers’ was highly commended at the 2016 Junior Film Fleadh Future Filmmakers Awards

The Junior Film Fleadh (8– 11th   November 2017 www.galwayfilmfleadh.com) is looking for entries from young filmmakers from the ages of 7 to 18 inclusive for Future Filmmakers Short Film Programmes.

Today’s film students are tomorrow’s filmmakers and, in addition to a mix of workshops, script competition, and panels, the Junior Film Fleadh gives them a platform to show their work on a big screen. If you, your friends, school, college, class, youth or sports club have made a short film and would like to see it on the big screen then send it in.

The only rules are that it must be under 15 minutes and have been made in 2016/7.  A rough cut of your film as a link is totally fine at submission stage too, so you can have time to finish it off and get all those crucial special effects in there if selected.

You can send the film via VimeoYouTubeGoogle DriveDropboxWeTransfer or MyAirBridge link.

Any genre/style from Documentary, Animation, Drama, Action, Musical, Comedy, Sci-Fi, Horror, or any mix thereof is acceptable.  Entries are welcome as Gaeilge also.

Entry forms can be found at www.galwayfilmfleadh.com

Closing date is Wednesday 6th September 2017.
