This year the Galway Fringe Festival will for the first time include a film and music video festival.  Film on the Edge will also be screening 10 award winning films whose awards include Best of Festival, Audience Award, and Cinematography awards among others.

On Sunday 10th July there will be a panel discussion on Shooting an Independently Funded Film in Ireland.   Panellists will include film makers who have shot independent films in Ireland with no state funding and brought these films to completion in innovative ways.  This is a hot topic right now with Irish Filmmakers as the number of independent productions is ever increasing and funding ever harder to obtain.  This nuts and bolts session will address very real questions and problems that independent film makers are facing today.

You are invited to submit your film and be part of this independent extravaganza of film. We welcome original and exciting work of any genre.
