The Guth Gafa International Documentary Film Festival is asking Irish filmmakers to submit their feature documentaries for consideration for our 9th festival which will take place in Kells, County Meath from October 2nd to 4th 2015.

The best Irish feature documentaries submitted this year will be screened alongside the festival’s international films, and the call for all Irish filmmakers to submit feature docs is open from now until midnight Friday August 22nd.

Guth Gafa will accept any Irish feature documentaries on any human rights, social action and environmental issue subjects, completed since January 2014 and that have not yet been broadcast.   Submission is completely free and online and the submission form can be accessed at this link – https://goo.gl/yvdVvn

In addition, to celebrate the festival’s move to Meath, a special ‘Made in Louth/Meath’ strand will be programmed this year and the festival is also calling for filmmakers working in the counties of Louth & Meath to submit their documentaries for consideration for this strand, which may also include shorts.

Again, Guth Gafa will accept any documentaries on any human rights, social action and environmental issue subjects, completed since January 2014 by a filmmaker(s) working in the Louth/Meath area (or a film by an Irish filmmaker that was shot in the Louth/Meath area) and that have not yet been broadcast. Submission is completely free and online and the submission form can be accessed at this link – https://goo.gl/GRhx2F
