Thanks Ciaran – as far as we know the Wicklow casting is going ahead

  1. Dear Film Ireland, I am interested in going. Initially I wanted to audition in Dublin. It was cancelled then I made other arrangements. Now Wicklow is the sole free date left but Vikings have it down as Wed 7th (Wed is the 8th).

Thank you belatedly for that information but due to a clash in my usually empty diary I will not be able to attend. If I was allowed to change my previous engagements I would have liked to attend auditions, however my Probation Officer and Mental Health Outreach Worker say “No”!

  2. Do I need to have any additional experience, or can I just come along?

  3. I know I missed out on the Vikings, but do you have any plans to make any films on Rentboys? I know that at 55 years of age I am no spring chicken, but I could still help in the capacity of a technical advisor.

Four years later and you still have not taken me up on my offer above. I am thinking of writing a film script based loosely around my life/existence as a gay man growing up in New Cross in London during the late 1970s and 1980s. Much of my idea for a drama documentary would centre around my years as a Rent Boy on he SoHo and Westminster circuits. I feel it would be very popular post watershed television and expose the dark side of politics, politicians and organised crime. Feel free to email me on cjgoggins@yahoo.com

I wonder if you would be willing to read through a Pilot film script I have recently prepared? The story loosely revolves around my own experience as a leading Police Corruption Maven and Rape apologist. It centres around my arrest by Essex Plodscum at a Pop-Up Granny Brothel in Essex in 2012 following me naming and shamming a famous footballers rape victim online despite her identity being legally protected.

The second part of the plot deals with my involvement with a Paedophile suspect in a notorious unsolved axe murder of a Private eye and his corrupt perjuring fellow suspect. This nest of Vipers overlaps neatly with my own struggles as I both attempt to solve the murder, fight systemic police corruption and come to terms with my own sexuality as a pansexual and copraphylic.

Please let me know if you would be interested in reading through my Pilot Script. My email is cjgoggins@yahoo.com

Are you likely to be calling for the participation of extras again once the Covid crisis is over? The reason I ask is that I heard a whisper on the local thesbian circuit that your company might be making a remake of the Classic, The Hunchback of Notre Dame that starred Charles Laughton. I have often be told that I have an uncanny resemblance to the star of that film, the hunchback not Charles Laughton minus make up. Please keep me posted, you have my email.

Any idea when you will start filming again, it’s just that I am desperate for cash?

Any news when you might start wanting extras again? Fact is I am down to my last £20 in my Halifax savings account despite a recent £20 win on the Euro lottery last Tuesday and I am desparate to earn some cash. I will do anything for money. If you don’t believe me ask the door staff at the Kremlin Gay Club in Belfast.

Further to my recent comment concerning my dire financial situation and the problems caused by my continuing unemployment, TUS in Ireland have found me the odd job sweeping floors in museums and sorting dead mens trousers in Charity Shops, however due to the continuing Lockdown I have been forced to start selling my body again, obviously being some 59 years old and riddled with artharitus my customer base is somewhat limited and I am sliding deeper into debt. When will work become available again for extras, I am willing to take anything on.

My last meal was two days ago and consisted of a tin of Spagbol and a cheeky glass of Buckfast Wine, thank God for Food Banks I say. There must be thousands of cash strapped struggling thespians like me barely existing.

I wonder if you would be interested in a Irish organised crime drama I have written concerning that thieving drug pushing scumbag Liam Byrne and his notorious organised crime gang? If you are interested contact me via email please. Look forward to hearing from you.

Further to my previous communication concerning concerning a crime drama that I have penned concerning the corrupt activities of the drug pushing scumbag Liam Byrne and his gang of drug pedlars. I have updated my drama documentary script to include police corruption. Tell me would you be interested in commissioning such a piece?
