In conjunction with the Research Manager you will provide data analysis and insight into TV3 Group’s audience performance
You are Responsible to the Research Manager & Director of Content
You will Liaise with the Commercial and Programming Departments, Company Directors, Programme Producers
Main tasks of Job
Provide daily ratings performance information on TV3 and 3e to relevant departments
Analyse station and market activity on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Analyse and report on commercial data to the Commercial team
Provide continual analysis and insight on TV3 and 3e’s programme, schedule and market performance to the Programming Department
Respond to ad-hoc research requests from all departments within the TV3 Group and from external agencies
Assist in producing marketing communications with the publicity and marketing teams
Forecast programme ratings
Demonstrated performance in analytics or relevant professional roles
Education or professional exposure to ‘big data’ or quantitative modeling
A genuine curiosity around numbers and what they mean
Attend Operational, Marketing Communications and Scheduling meetings to supply data and provide detailed insight on viewing statistics

Employee Specification
Essential
Comprehensive knowledge of Arianna, the TV industry’s ratings analysis software
A high degree of accuracy with fine details and a logical yet creative approach to problem solving and strategy
A solid understanding of the commercial TV marketplace in Ireland
Efficient in prioritising and meeting deadlines together with an ability to work on your own initiative
Ability to perform under pressure in a team environment
Comfortable reporting on an executive level
Good people skills

Desirable
A minimum of 2 years experience in a media organisation or advertising agency
A good knowledge of TV Advisor, the industry’s Overnight Ratings software
