Successful Storyland Commissioning Projects Announced

RTÉ Drama and Bord Scannán na hÉireann/ the Irish Film Board today announced the commission of five new original dramas for the new season of Storyland.

Close to 200 aspiring and experienced drama production teams pitched their ideas to make a series for Storyland, which looks to develop new TV drama talent.

The five production companies who have been awarded the commissions are Black Sheep Productions, Blinder Films, Deadpan Pictures, Fantastic Films and Stirling Film and Television Productions.

In a change to previous years the five series will be commissioned in full, each consisting of four by six minute episodes.
