The casting process for TV3’s new Irish soap opera Red Rock will begin this weekend at Dublin’s John Player Factory, where two sessions will take place led by Louise Kiely.
On the day there will be a ticket system in operation, on a first come, first seen basis. 500 people will be seen per day in Dublin. Further casting will take place around the country. Cork and Limerick session take place on August 16, time and venue TBC. Belfast and Galway run August 23rd, time and venue TBC.
Louise Kiely advises getting there early and added that “if we cannot see you on the day, we shall accept self-tapes in the coming months. We would ask that people prepare a film/TV monologue of a minute in length.”
TV3’s new Irish soap opera Red Rock will be set in a police precinct in a fictional harbour town and is expected to air twice-weekly from January 2015 as a rival to RTÉ’s Fair City.
