In this episode of the Film Ireland Podcast, Ruairí  and Donnchadh shake their fists at the latest film news, delve deep into the underbelly of the latest films playing in your local picture house, review their homework ( Princess Mononoke and Persepolis) and, due to good behaviour, Donnchadh is let out of the basement to nab an insightful interview with historian Stephen Ryan, knower of all things Jimmy Gralton,  and gets his views on Ken Loach’s Jimmy’s Hall.

  1. Hi there,

While I appreciate what you are doing – getting the movie news out there!

I can research this stuff much faster, and in a more entertaining manner via the likes of variety.com

I can’t remember the last time I was sent a link to a podcast. Links to video yes (which are great for website SEO)!

Looking forward to your podcasts becoming videocasts!

    Stephen
