If you have a story to tell that’s visually challenging and want to give it a cinematic look then here’s your chance to apply for Alexa Take 3.
Make a short film, trailer or music video with a free full ARRI Alexa camera package from Visual Impact and Vast Valley available for up to 6 shooting days per project (including set of Tiffen filters).
Entry Deadline April 1st for shooting June 2014
The selected director’s work will be premiered at the Cork Film Festival October 2014.
Send no more than a one-page outline of what you would like to shoot. If you have funding with a project ready that’s OK too.
Please submit outlines by 12pm April 1st 2014 to Devon Baur at devon@sdgi.ie or by post to Curved Street South, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.
SDGI will make a decision by April 8th and shoot dates will be June 2014 approx.
Terms and Conditions
The director must be a fully paid member of SDGI as of April 1st 2014.
The director will provide their own insurance on the shoot days.
The director will provide all additional equipment.
The director will work with a DOP.
The director, or a representative, must be available for the production meeting at 14:00 on April 14th.
