SCREENING POSTER BRAVADO

On the 4thth of April at the Nerve Centre in Derry at 7pm there is a screening of  local Derry film Bravado; tickets cost four pounds with all the profits going to Foyle Hospice.

 

Bravado is the new feature film from award winning Derry born writer and director David Harkin.  The film was financed solely by the producers David Harkin, Eoin Daly and Golda Mansilla.

 

 

Bravado is a crime story that tells the story of Rebecca Kelly who is looking to get in touch with her estranged husband Martin Doherty.  Martin has neglected his parental responsibilities and has vanished.  Rebecca seeking answers; enlists the help of private investigator Christopher Swann.  Swann uncovers a lot more about Martin than he ever intended and gets himself mixed up in the middle of a gang war with no easy way out.

 

The cast includes local actors Shauna Lawson, Hugh Barbour, James McLaughlin, Martin Bradley, Geoff Coke, Ciaran Paterson, Kyle Martin, Brendan Gallagher and Michael Harkin

 

The film was shot last summer in and around Derry and Donegal.
