Unfold won Best Cinematography for Michael Gilbert at the Queens World Film Festival in the US.
The short film is written and directed by Steven Daly and stars Anthony Murphy, Janice Byrne, Catriona Loughlin.
In Unfold Mark’s life has taken a turn for the worse and he’s doing everything he can to hide his problems from the world around him. His everyday goal is to blend in with society and appear ‘normal’, while also trying to find himself again and tap into a creativity he once had. Sara is used to serving coffee to people every day, keeping their routine, but Mark, seems out of place. She is intrigued by him and takes a chance by introducing him to an aspect of life around him that he may never have seen before. This could be just what Mark needs to give him his push forward.
