Low budget thriller Somebody’s There secures UK distribution with UK’s 88 Films, which will see the documentary style thriller get a July release.
The 75-minute feature, which was helmed by award-winning filmmaker Stephen Patrick Kenny (Clowns, The Underground, The Street) tells the story of 7 friends who head to the beautiful wilderness of Connemara, Co. Galway for a weekend break to celebrate the first year anniversary of a close friend. First night in they come across a beaten and bloodied male looking for help as he warns them that two masked men attacked him and took his girlfriend, some of the group head into the wooded area in search as others return to their cars which have disappeared. With no houses for miles and no transport they must walk themselves back but are not alone!
The film stars Mark Hutchinson, Tom Ward, Eugene Horan with support from Camille Yourell, Gerard Fallon, Andrew Neenan, John Berry, Trevor O’ Neill and Ken O’ Sullivan.
