The intern will gain practical experience in researching for television programmes; in addition the intern will gain broader experience in administration of programme production.
Training will be in the form of mentoring, on the job training and attachment to the day time programme ‘Today’ and practical on the job experience, including working on a daily live television programme. On completion the intern will have gained hands on experience and attained skills in programme television research.
The candidate should have excellent interpersonal and team working skills together with the ability to work in a live and pressurised environment.
The candidate should have completed a 3rd level qualification in television production or journalism and or have Journalistic experience.
This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment. See eligibility criteria above.
