‘Cuckoo’ nominated in Lovie Awards

Cuckoo, a 28-minute online drama that was originally part of RTÉ’s renowned Storyland series, has been nominated in both the Music & Entertainment and The People’s Lovie Award at the Lovie Awards, held in London on 13th November.

Cuckoo, which was also recently nominated for the Best Online Drama award at the Webby Awards (competing with a Tom Hanks production) features music by The Hot Sprockets, Le Galaxie, Fox Avenue, Retarded Cop and Skelocrats. The Music & Entertainment section will be judged by IADAS, the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, alongside actor and presenter Stephen Fry, musician Imogen Heap and Tweetdeck founder and CEO Iain Dodsworth.

Voting for the The People’s Lovie Award takes place from 24th September to 10th October at www.lovieawards.eu (category Internet & Video/Music & Entertainment).
