A lone traveller makes his way through an airport before finally accepting his journey’s end.
Deep in thought and bubbling with restrain a somewhat lonesome character is conveyed through an airport. Where is he going? Why is he travelling? His surroundings, sterilized in efficiency, offer little in the way of comfort. Forced to take emotional refuge our hero awaits his journey’s end.
Director Eoin Duffy attempts to express a personal journey centred around the loss of his younger brother – Emmet. The film represents Eoin’s journey home, his transition through the 5 stages of grief, all the while drawing parallels to his brother’s journey.
The project was funded by the Irish Film Board’s Frameworks programme in conduction with The Arts Council (of Ireland) and RTE (Raidió Teilifís Éireann).
