Dublin Comic Con (August 10th & 11th 2013, Dublin)
Dublin Comic Con’s first event is being held in the National Show Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin this year and is the first Comic Con in Dublin to showcase a wide range of original screen used as well as replica props and costumes from a wide range of movies, T.V series, comics and games. There will be life size replica movie cars and costumed characters freely walking the event hall and visitors will be able to immerse themselves in another world by going through interactive sets.
The latest guest to be confirmed for the two day event is the 7 ft 1 inch tall actor Ian Whyte who is best known for his portrayal as the Predator in AVP and AVPR
Ian is also known as ‘The Mountain’ Gregor Clegane on Game of Thrones, Engineer from Prometheus and has been in Clash of the Titans, Harry Potter, Dragonball Evolution and AVP. Ian will be signing autographs and participating in photo-shoots with attendees.
