OFFline Film Festival 2013 is now Open For Submissions.
€8,000 worth of prizes up for grabs at OFFline!
There are two competitions available for you to apply to: the first is the Short Film Competition which will put you in with a chance to screen at this year’s festival. The second call is for the OFFline Filmmaking Competition which sees teams compete in a shoot-out this coming October. The total value including cash prizes and equipment rental comes in at €8,000 for both competitions. Not only that but the winning film made at OFFline gets to automatically compete at the 2014 Galway Film Fleadh!
Announcing the competition OFFline Festival Director, Gary Hoctor stated: “I’m really looking forward to seeing the submissions to this years festival. Last year we had over 350 submissions, and I’m sure the competition will be just as tough this year.”
OFFline will continue to host its annual BBQ at the Galway Film Fleadh on Saturday 15th July from 12-3pm at the Rowing Club. All are welcome.
In the meantime, if you’re an aspiring actor then get yourself along to the open auditions for this years October festival. The first of these auditions takes place next Thursday night in Birr Theatre & Arts Centre from 8pm to 9:30pm.
