Cuckoo, the Irish web series originally produced as part of RTÉ’s Storyland competition, is going all out to win the prestigious People’s Choice Award at the Webbys (the internet version of the Oscars). Cuckoo is nominated for the Best Online Drama award with just four competitors – but as these include The Walking Dead and actor Tom Hanks’ new animation project, Electric City, competition is tough, to say the least!
Despite phenomenal support the Cuckoo team still needs another 3,000 votes to beat the big boys. And with the voting closing at midnight on 25 April, the clock is ticking…
