The feature documentary SLOW FOOD STORY funded by Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board (IFB) has been officially selected for the Culinary Programme of this year’s Berlin International Film Festival and there are numerous other Irish films screening and selling in the market.

SLOW FOOD STORY directed by Stefano Sardo is the story of a man and the movement which revolutionised gastronomy. It is the tale of a cultural revolution which has been taking place for the past 25 years and still shows no sign of waning.

Other Irish films screening and selling in the EFM are CALVARY, KELLY + VICTOR, FRANK, GOOD VIBRATIONS and JUMP, LAST DAYS ON MARS, LIFE’S A BREEZE, LOVE ETERNAL, MISTER JOHN, THE GOOD GUIDE TO LOVE, THE GOOD MAN, THE STAG, GET THE PICTURE, MEN AT LUNCH, MEA MAXIMA CULPA: SILENCE IN THE HOUSE OF GOD and UNDER THE HOOD. Members of the Irish film industry will also be attending the festival and market .

The Irish Film Board (IFB) will once again have a presence at Berlinale and EFM, this year in the Martin Gropius Bau – Stand G8 upstairs on the balcony.
