Dunsany Productions ‘GUERRILLA‘ Wins Best Score at the Underground Cinema Film Festival

DUNSANY PRODUCTIONS is proud to announce the success of its resident composer DARIUS McGANN,  who has picked up the award for best original score from this years UNDERGROUND CINEMA AWARDS. ‘GUERRILLA’, directed by BLAINE RENNICKS,  who also received a nomination, for best newcomer director at the awards ceremony.

‘GUERRILLA ‘ which previously picked up the award for best production at NAAS FILM FESTIVAL is a futuristic war film, revolving around a group of guerrilla’s who are fighting to over turn an imperial state in post apocalyptic Ireland. The film stars award winning actress “SARAH CARROLL( This Must Be the Place) who stars alongside JACK LOWE(Repeat), DARREN  KILLEEN(Game of Thrones), GERRY WADE( Tudors) and BERTIE BROSNAN (Maru).

‘GUERRILLA’ was produced by RANDAL PLUNKETT, LORD DUNSANY(Out There, Walt)  and was filmed majority on location at the wondrous Dunsany estate in Meath by Italian cinematographer STEFANO BATTAROLA (Out There, Walt) .

DARIUS  McGANN, who originally hails from Drogheda, also received a second nomination from this years UNDERGROUND CINEMA AWARDS for his work on DUNSANY PRODUCTIONS award winning short ‘WALT’, which previously won the LIT FILM FESTIVAL award of 2012, for best drama.

McGANN’s  latest work, is on DUNSANY PRODUCTIONS new horror film ‘OUT THERE’  which is due for release in the next few weeks.
