Student film makers across Ireland are invited to lend their support to the Better Together public awareness campaign, which has been launched to build public support for thousands of charities, clubs and associations across Ireland.
The social media campaign centres on the website www.bettertogether.ie where charities, clubs and associations can showcase their work, by submitting inspiring online videos to the BetterTogether online video competition. The public are also invited to show their support by voting for favourite videos. The three winning videos (based on organisation size) will each win €3,000 cash for their cause.
Above all the campaign aims to inspire the public to connect with and support their local community, to show the heroic efforts being made daily by volunteers and people working to help those most in need and to demonstrate that we are better together.
We Need Student Filmmakers’ Help
To help these organisations tell their story and produce a winning online video, we are inviting student film makers to partner with an organisation of their choice to produce and direct an inspirational online video. Videos (which must be 2-minutes or less in length) can be submitted from now until 5th November, 2012. The campaign will culminate with the Better Together Awards on 6 December when the winners will be announced.
