RED PIRANHA in association with Dark Window Media and Red Line Filmes has announced that the feature length film North Circular Road has begun principal photography in Dublin.

Directed by Paul Heary and Donal Nugent from a script by Nugent, the film will star Pat O’Donnell, Lorna Larkin, Irene Wright, Patrick Molloy, Judy Donovan and Mick Fitzgerald. The film also introduces German actress Vanessa Richter.

Developed with Dark Window Media, North Circular Road is produced by Michael Parle and Kathy Horgan.

Shot on location on the eponymous Dublin street, this independent Irish production will have a distinctly international flavour with the involvement of Brazilian production company Red Line Filmes. The company, with offices in Rio de Janeiro and Dublin, has worked on a number of projects in Ireland over the last year, and North Circular Road will be its first involvement in a feature film in Ireland.

North Circular Road is described as clever and engaging comedy drama. It tells the story of Janice and Matthew, a young couple about to buy their dream home. Janice encounters ghosts in the house and soon finds herself wrapped up in a chilling drama being played out before her eyes.
