‘Stitches’ and ‘Grabbers’ Success at FrightFest

Total Film have awarded Stitches and Grabbers gongs for the 13th Film4 FrightFest which took place over the weekend.
The killer-clown comedy Stitches picked up the Best Death accolade while the creature feature Grabbers was awarded the Best Monsters (Non-human) gong.
FrightFest, globally acclaimed as the most unique place for the lifeblood and genre culture of the UK screened the official World Premiere of Conor McMahon’s Stitches. Co-written by McMahon and David O’Brien, the fils stars comedian Ross Noble as Stitches the clown, who comes back from the dead to haunt those who took his life during a fatal party mishap!
Grabbers, directed by Jon Wright and written by Kevin Lehane, is a monster comedy telling the story of Erin Island under siege from tentacle, fang-jawed, barb-tongued creatures. Grabbers is in cinema now.
