| August 28, 2012 | Comments (1)

Filmbase is currently accepting final applications for Masters courses in Digital Feature Film and Creative Documentary Production starting in September. The courses, run in association with Staffordshire University, are industry-facing and aim to assist filmmakers interested in developing their skills in the area of feature length film and documentary production.

Both courses have been designed to equip students with the essential skills necessary for future roles in film production while offering the opportunity to engage with this new wave of digital filmmaking.

The first year of the MSc course has already seen students complete the feature film Keys to the City which recently premiered at the 2012 Galway Film Fleadh. The film, starring Rory Keenan, Conor Mullen, Una Kavanagh, David Murray and Natalia Kostrzewa was the first feature in the world to complete production on the RED Scarlet camera.

The course will run for one year full-time from Filmbase in Dublin.

Filmmakers interested in applying for the course can find more details on www.filmmasters.ie
