‘Shellshock’ has North American premiere

Irish short film Shellshock will have its North American premiere later this month at the Princeton Student Film & Video Festival in New Jersey. The film, which was written & directed by John Corcoran, follows the experiences of a young Irishman who served in the British Army during World War One. The film was produced by Jean Igoe as a graduation piece for Dublin Institute of Technology’s School of Media.

The film stars Donal Gallery (Game of Thrones), Jane McGrath (The Clinic) and Pascal Scott (Grabbers). It has recently won awards at the Bangkok International Student Film Festival, the National Student Media Awards and the Celtic Media Festival. Further information can be found on the film’s blog:
