A House of Cards

Filming has wrapped on the independent short film A House of Cards. Principal photography took place over three days from 16-18 of April while some pickup shots were captured on Tuesday 1st May to wrap the project.

Written by actors Mark McCabe and Eddie Jackson A House of Cards gives insight in to a difficult family reunion dinner coming to terms with their mother’s illness. The film boasts an impressive cast and was directed by Jordan Ballantine, produced by Alice O’ Toole for Floor Unit Productions, Kenneth Adams was the DoP while the short will be scored by composer Edd Charmant.

The cast includes IFTA-winner Brendan Conroy (Kings), The Clinic star Rachel Pilkington (Bloom), Amy Kirwan (Eamon), Niamh Shaw (Dorothy Mills), Steve Hartland (The Importance Of Being Whatever), Mark McCabe (Sin é) and Eddie Jackson (Promised Land).
