Griffith College will be awash with talent from Thursday 24th May, which sees the beginning of Creative Week 2012.

Opening with a live fashion show at 7pm on the South Circular Road campus, the annual event will once again showcase Ireland’s up and coming talent in the areas of fashion design, interior design and architecture, film, photography, computer science, music and drama, and digital media.

The fashion show will be followed by a screening of the best work of the year from the film faculty and students from the computing faculty will also exhibit their gaming creations beginning at 8.30pm that evening.

The photography department will present a selection of their best images on the opening night accompanied by performances from the award-winning Leinster School of Music and Drama. This will serve as a taster for the following week when photography graduates will host their annual exhibition on Thursday 31st May 2012. A graduate film screening will also be presented on the night.

The best work of media and photography students will be on display at the college throughout the following week until 7th June in a celebration of the students’ work.

Tickets to the fashion show are €10.00 and are available for purchase by emailing sinead.lawlor@gcd.ie. The photography exhibition and other static exhibitions throughout the week are free of charge.
