Galway-based animation company Dancing Girl Productions announce sales success of ‘Joe and Jack’

CCI Entertainment Ltd. has announced nine new sales in key territories worldwide for its preschool series Joe and Jack. The 39 x 7 minute series will appear on ABC Australia, Canal + (Piwi +) France, NPO Netherlands (Z@ppelin), RTP Portugal, Telequebec, Knowledge Network and BBC Kids in Canada, TVNZ New Zealand and Korea Hi Tel. The series will also air on Disney Junior Latin America.

In addition to television, CCI has also reached a home entertainment agreement with ABC Enterprises in Australia for the property.

Joe & Jack has been developed and is being produced by Maeve Mc Adam and Villi Ragnarsson of Ireland’s Dancing Girl Productions. Joe & Jack was funded by the Irish Film Board, RTE, the Broadcast Authority of Ireland, the MEDIA programme of the European Union, Northern Ireland Screen, the Irish Language Broadcast Fund and the Section 481 tax incentive from the Republic of Ireland.

Arnie Zipursky, Co-Chairman and CEO of CCI Entertainment stated, “We are very happy with the response we have had from broadcasters on Joe & Jack. The charm of the series as well as the incredible art is garnering a lot of attention on all continents”.

Joe and Jack revolves around the comedic adventures of a boy Joe, and his best friend Jack. The only catch, Jack is a cat! The daring duo turn the ordinary into the extraordinary by using their imaginations to make dreams come true. The series embodies themes of friendship and fun and tackles preschool challenges.
