3D Cinema in Europe, a pioneering training programme, is calling for application for their 2012 courses. During the courses participants will explore the full process of 3D Development, production and exhibition. The programme which is supported by the MEDIA Programme of The European Union, Screen Training Ireland and Bord Scannán na hÉireann/ the Irish Film Board, is hosting two modules this year.

Module 1 which takes place from the 29th June to the 1st of July 2012 is aimed at European producers, directors or development executives with feature film or short film currently in development.
Module 2 which takes place from the 12th to the 14th of October 2012 is also aimed at European producers, directors or development executives with feature film or short film currently in development. However it includes a wider group of participants including producers, directors, writers, development executives, DOP, editors, VFX, Production Designers and Post Production supervisors.

The goal of the 3D Cinema in Europe is to create a pool of creative professionals who wholly understand the technical and creative possibilities of 3D, and can fully exploit this format within the international marketplace.

The fees are €1,650 to attend both modules, and €700 to attend either module 1 or module 2. Course fees include accommodation and food costs but does not include travel.
